New leaf 2006
"What makes you weak is that you are afraid of doing something, afraid that you're never gonna make it. Don't be a fool; even Noah had the same problem. He had to sail for forty days and nights in the midst of a great storm until he found a place to park his ark."--Zeus Villafuerte
This made me smile. Got it of Vanessa in Pharmacy School. She's one cool lady. Really gotta give her the credit for being patient with all of us during the lunch breaks. You get this ridiculously long line outside her office, students waiting to pick up assignments, lecture notes, module booklets...you name it, she's got it. Ever so patient, sabar, sabar, and so often repetitively the same question to answer. And she has this smiley face that makes you feel better when you get your test paper back and its a crap mark. Like "Dont worry, you're not alone". Heh.... :D
Things are going to be so different next year. 2006 marks turning a new leaf. I cant help but wonder how Homegroup's gonna be like. I'm so used to Alice and Ming and how they run things so well. I remember leading worship one night, the night they'd left for Chch... and i honestly felt so lost. If it wasnt for Sulyn, Ben and Josh O leading worship with me, i'm sure i would have floated to the ceiling. Like nothing that tied me to the ground. But i believe that God's going to prepare all our hearts for next year. The changes, the new things, the new people. I believe it's gonna be an amazing year with massive outreach and growth. Cant wait will Waihola on Friday. Like Jess said during accountability today,"If all given a chance, everyone would be a leader." It's hard that we have to only have a few people for this retreat, but hey, every single person is going to lead a lifegroup for Christ in the future! "Leader" should be synonymous to "Servant".
Hospital externship will come out on Friday....
